I got my radio show website linked up to the kuci site, so if you need to update your bookmarks, the new address is : http://www.kuci.org/freedom it’s a little less lengthy compared to the big ol’ address I had before. I’m pretty into it. Speaking of which, I had to reapply for my show next quarter, aaand I have a class on Tuesday mornings, so we’ll see what happens to my time slot. I’m hoping they can fit me in somewhere fun. If for some reason they can’t, I’ve been thinkin about makin my radio show work like GTFU does. they do it out of their basement, and just host it on their own server space (which robb has been gettin into lately). I might get my own radio show phone number through skype. but we’ll talk about the bridge when we get there, if we get there.
Carolyn, Cooper and I head off on a jet plane this evening to Maryland for the holidays. Coop loves to be outside, but I’m interested to see if the snow holds him back at all. My guess? He’s gonna be all about it.
Jon Cheese left town a few days ago. it was rad havin him around town. He came down to KUCI to hang on my radio show and we had a gooooood time. it’s fun being on the radio and playin music with friends. I wanna do that forever. FOR-EVVVVVVVVVVVVER. The day he left town, I took the train up to Union Station to meet him and we walked over to Olvera st. It was raining, but we managed to find a really good taco stand. If you’ve been to Olvera St. you may think, “yeah, real hard to find a good taco stand there” (<—heavy sarcasm), but there are sooo many choices no matter what you go with, you’ll be thinkin about the places you DIDN’T eat at. well the place we went to had stupid good potato tacos. so we scored.
other highlights of the week: lunch with colin on his lunch break, bunko party with carolyn’s friends, the donkeys record I got when we were in Lawrence
