it’s been almost a month. I’m a walking tragedy. maybe it’s cuz I just started the second half of summer school. first half = one class. second half = 3 classes, and tryin to pull of gettin my own college radio show, while trying to make this last bit of summer really count. my bad. I’ve seem to have taken on quite the load. that being said, I’m glad to report that things are going smooth as hell. school is better than ever. I have more classes to juggle, but I’ve got a great digital photo class where I’m learning to literally edit the shit outta my pictures. cool. I’m also in a writing class, which was very intimidating on day one, but has evolved into somethin I think I’m gonna really dig. the radio show scene is lookin promising. hopefully before too long, I’m hoping to put together a compilation cd of bands that I have play live on my show. yes, I’m talking a lot before actually walking, but that’s only the case because I’m truly excited about all of it. I got a new surfboard, a Dewey Weber, which had the tail accidentally busted out of it after my first outing with it (long story, not worth explaining), but I’m loving it now (it was gracefully repaired by a shop in san clemente called Ghetto House Glassing). Me and the fam even made a trip up to Carpinteria for some camping with some good friends. Coop handled the overnight like cake. Speaking of which, dessert is ready.
In other news, a dude I dig, Richard Swift, just released a digital only EP, and it’s currently (and for a limited-time) free. So grab it. Google Richard Swift or somethin and grab it. the Ep is all over the place. but that’s why he’s cool. 4REAL.
